About

Take Back the Night is a three daylong series of events: workshops, SpeakOut, performances, march and protest.  All of the events are geared towards raising awareness about domestic violence, sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.  This is organized by leaders of campus and community groups as a call to action and to support survivors.

This is held during the month of April, because this month is sexual assault awareness month.  The entire month we will be holding events, or passing out teal ribbons to students to try and engage the community on this issue.  Women are not the only survivors contrary to popular belief. We are here to support all survivors, especially those who are more likely to be silenced like students of color, disabled and queer students.
